MOBILE APPLICATION

Hello my friends!

Today(today and last week) we are presenting mobile applications that we discover. We are presenting it to our classmates and our teacher.They decide whether this application is available for me or not. If they want to use this application, they download it.

I presented VOApod. It is vocabulary and listening based application. VOA means Voice Of America. It helps students to improve their English. Ther are stories, videos with subtitles, audios, new reports..
If you good at English, you can use it to know about American culture, history, latest news.
I advice this application to you. It is useful for learners who want to improve vocabulary and listening.

EDUCAPLAY

Hello everyone!
Today we prepared 6 quiz games in educaplay.com . ABC game, map quiz, dialogue game, memory game, video quiz, word search puzzle. It is similar to Hot Potatoes.
For example, in map quiz, I uploaded a room picture and I want them to choose for example: clock,bed something like that and they are supposed to find it.

Hot Potatoes is freeware, and you may use it for any purpose or project you like. It is not open-source. The Java version provides all the features found in the windows version, except: you can't upload to hotpotatoes.net and you can't export a SCORM object from Java Hot Potatoes. When you first start up Hot Potatoes, it will ask you for your user name. This name is stored on your computer, and not sent to anyone; it will be inserted into your exercises to identify you as the author. You must provide a user name before you can use all the features of Hot Potatoes.

SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS

Hello my friends,
In today's lesson, we chose one social media tools and think about what we teach English in it. I chose Facebook. I create an account as a person first, then I changed it as educational page. It is called 'Time To Learn English'. I shared questions, vocabulary definition stories, idioms, word formation etc. And I prepared some questions, games for my students. I want them to answer in Facebook comments. I also create inbox group. I will share documents, video recording with them. I am going to use 'live' option in Facebook. My students can join in my live. I want to make a vlog.

We learned about Wiki. Our teacher gave task about Webquest. We responsible to prepare questions about Webquest. Me and Sevgi studied in pair. Our task is 'what is best 5 webquests'. We prepared it. Next week we will share them to Fandom.

Hello my friends,
Today, I interviewed with my highschool teacher about social media tools. I asked that 'Do you use social media tools? If yes, which one do you use? Is it personal account or else? Do you follow educational accounts? If yes, Which one do you follow?' My teacher answered my questions, she gave advise to me. Next week, we will speak about this interview in course.

'Feedback to Webquest'

     Hello, my friendsss. Today, I will share feedback of my Webquest. I shared my Webquest to ELT students. I asked them that 'Is this useful for your education? Is this webquest appropriate for your level?' I got good feedback for this. They liked it and they said this webquest is their course. So, I was happy and I want to share you. Aphasia (my webquest) is important issue, I think. So it was useful..

'Webquest'

         Welcome to everybody again. I want to mention about Webquest that our first project. Webquest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. Thanks to Webquest, we don't need to do any research on the Internet. Everything is one 'click' close up. You can upload every link to study. Webquest is encouraging learners to feel they are doing something ‘real’ or ‘useful’.
I liked this Webquest because it is so easy to find searching something. If I become a teacher one day, I will use Webquest for my students.
